Frogette, the beautiful princess here at Frog Central, is ready to ring in the new year! Dressed in her gorgeous designer outfit that she spent a fortune on and after all day at the frog parlour, she has placed her tiara on her head and is ready to be the Belle of the New Years Ball!
He's got his best suit on and a flower in hand, I bet this guy has a hot date!
Here at Frog Central everyone wants to pitch in and help make this site a hopping success. But this little guy kept turning his screen the other way - I hope he's not spending his time looking at Luscious Leaper!
Pond-ering is the pastime of this frog here at Frog Central. Being king is hard work!
This little guy has gotten a new beret and is testing it out - it's making him feel a little froggy!
I love the frogs that play instruments. While I have not done any research as to why it is popular, I think it is because of the wonderful music that frogs make each summer night. The air here at Frog Central is just filled with music!
Ah the sweet sound of the trumpet solo. Actually, Hoots is part of a group, but today he's showing off all by himself. Just as each member of the band will get their turn.
Well weddings are not just for June. This couple has decided that a December wedding will do them just fine. And they plan on going off to their honeymoon in style.
This Sprogz is practicing for warmer weather, we he can head down to the beach at the pond and play a little volleyball. He's practicing his Jump Serve and is sure he'll make the team!
Well it finally happened here at Frog Central - Snow! It's only a couple of inches but Scoop here wanted to make a snowman for all the tadpoles, so he donned his wool cap, grabbed his shovel and out into the snow he went. Now it wasn't a lot of snow so he was only able to make a small snowman, but I hear the tadpoles loved it!
Well this is the dream of every frog right about now, that the tadpoles head off back to school! This little croaker goes to Lilly Pond Elementary. I bet his teacher hopes there is a worm in that apple!

Ah, the toads of Mudwiggle Marsh are back again. Their grumpyness is legendary as they muck about the swamp living life with a humorous moodyness.
All the tadpoles here at Frog Central can hardly wait until Christmas eve. They're hoping that Chris Springle will bring them plenty of pond toys.
A single frog at the holidays. But this connoisseur of love as written a personal. He's seeking a tasteful, full bodied relationship with someone who enjoys the finer things in life . . . a dry sense of humor, a well aged character and kisses sweeter than wine. It is a very good year . . . for romance!
We're down to the last few days before Christmas and it's time to SHOP! And this lovely beauty has been to the famous Pond Mart to get some last minute items. She's shopped so much today that her eyes have crossed!
It is supposed to snow here at Frog Central today, so this froggy and little one are out enjoying things before they head back to the toad abode. They found a mirror to sit on. Maybe they think they're seeing another frog.
Tadpole was worried going to sleep but his guardian angel was there to protect him.
It's fun to start the kids out loving frogs right from the start. And this Pull-Along Frog made by PinToy is a great toy for kids. As it is pulled along it opens it mouth and makes a croaking noise. It also makes a hopping like motion. A fun toy that requires no batteries!
This little tadpole was rather fussy, but now he just fine that he's got his pacifier. And what could be more appropriate for a tad than a fly pacifier. Now with a dry diaper and his thumb (?) to suck on he's getting droopy-eyed and ready for a nap.
All frogs go to heaven - and this angel is proof. This little angel ornament has been dreaming all year of being at the top of the froggie Christmas tree here at Frog Central. With a halo and wings, I think she's been good enough to get her Christmas wish.
Flipped wanted me to pass on a public service announcement. As much as he enjoys his job of fighting fires, he wants everyone to remember safety this holiday season when it comes to decorations that have candles. Also remember to unplug your electric decorations before going to bed.
Here at Frog Central it has turned bitterly cold, so outdoor froggies come inside. And in the close quarters you just have to know that some are going to end up cuddling together to keep warm!
Every time that I look at this cute little Sprogz and especially the look on the face, I know he must be thinking - so they do come out! Every Sprogz has a dream and with a name like Hop E. Flosser (number SG231) I guess being a dentist was just destiny.
Some frogs are just plain fun and this is one of them. A giant Pez dispenser of everyone's favorite frog - Kermit. The dispenser has the added bonus of playing "The Muppet Show Theme" everytime you get a candy!
This chilly weather, and it is cold here at Frog Central, makes me wish I could go to Hawaii. This Hula Hopper makes the daydream all that more real.
Once upon a time, long ago and far, far away. . . Every story has a starting place and here at Frog Central this little ceramic scrubby frog holds a very special place. That's because this was the very first frog of the collection. It was the result of a joke about a wide-mouthed frog that had been told repeatedly around where I worked. The joke was on me when on the following holiday I received a large number of frogs from everyone I knew. And thus, some 20 years later, I am able to share my loveable froggies with all of you.
This little guy is really into a certain movie! He's got the hat and wand, and a magic ball just to be sure.
The country band is getting ready to play and you know you have to have a good strong base to keep the beat. So what better than good ol' washtub base to thump it out. This guy is ready for a ready of a rendition of Froggy went a courtin.
Watch out Brittany, there's a new diva hopping into town! Decked out with a blue spangled outfit, belly ring, long blond hair (must be a wig), and the reddest lipstick you've ever seen. She's born to be a star!
What's that saying about having to kiss a lot of frogs? Well here is a sophisticated frog that could only be a prince.
This little Sprogz just loves blowing bubbles. He's got his cheeks all puffed up and ready to shatter the record around the pond for biggest bubble. I wonder what kind of bubblegum he prefers!
This handmade wooden frog ornament from China looks rather menacing. I have taken to calling him Frogzilla and am ready for a Frogzilla vs. Godzilla movie! This froggie is fully jointed and is an ornament for the Christmas tree.
Anchors Away! It looks like Swabby is practicing his knots.
Frogs do come in many colors! This cute little frog is a plush from Russ and called Fruggy. It comes in a variety of colors and today's color is purple.
You can hear the music thumping, hopping to the beat. This Sprogz is feeling the groove and he's dressed for the part.
This little guy looks like he has spied a fly. Or maybe he is just wondering who is disturbing him in his bog.
It looks like the photographer from this morning will have another tadpole to photograph! This little cutie is certainly ready to have her picture taken.
Say cheese... This photographer has a way to keep all those little tadpoles from squirming - keep them in a water globe!
Well this little Sprogz is trying to get on the Pond Globehoppers. Or maybe he's heard about a certain team needing some new players after a public brawl. Hmmm....
Sitting on his throne in his royal finery and waiting for his queen, it looks like he has nothing to do but look for passing flies.
Well I'm toadally jealous of this Sprogz. I love ice cream! I've heard of eating ice cream in the winter, but it's just a little too cold for me - well, maybe not, where's the dipper and cones?!?
Here is one of the toads of Mudwiggle Marsh. Their grumpyness is legendary! Everyone's been talking of old Wart's new hat in the swamp. Now Wart is a proud old toad, and when the other toads started to make fun of his hat, he was truly hurt. Afterall, his emotions were still fragile after losing that big fish last week. Well, tonight he'd show them! Right after he finished catching this old boot, he'd catch the biggest fish ever seen in these parts! (from the tag)
This Sprogz wants to do his part and so has joined the Pond Force. He's ready for some high hopping adventures. And we he goes too high he has an oxygen mask and a parachute strapped to his back. And for safety first he's wearing his crash helmet.
The sweet mellow sound of the French Horn or is that how they make that croaking sound? While I collect all types of frog collectibles, I have a special affinity for frogs that play musical instruments. This is a metal verdigras figure. A very nice piece added to my collection about a year ago.
Oo la la! Look who is sitting on the shores of the pond batting those eye lashes (do frogs have eye lashes?). I'm sure that some prince will come along soon.
I guess if I want to have breakfast this morning I'm going to have to kiss the cook!
Well the Sprogz have just gotten back from vacationing where they saw many different types of totems and learned about the spirits they represent. But it's hard to relate to others that experience so they decided to demonstrate!
Sometimes you find a cute little frog in the most unlikely places. I was at a rummage sale that advertised glassware and came across this little guy and for a dollar he came home with me. Made out of cerammic, it has some unique painting styles, but whimsy is what makes it adorable. It is a bank with a slot in the back and the plug in the bottom. All in all, I think I made a great buy!
